PART SELECTION INFORMATION

Plain Faced Cubes

Plain Faced Cubes are Craftsman’s most popular standard cube. They allow the greatest flexibility and adaptability to suit machining centres with an indexing table. Parts can be fixed to all 4 sides, and the top if required, achieving maximum productivity.

Plain Faced Angle brackets

Angle brackets maximise the machining area of a horizontal machine. They are often supplied either pre-drilled to your specifications, or with grid type or tee slot type accessory plates to allow greater flexibility of fixturing used.

Plain Faced Cruciform

Cruciforms allow the maximum access to parts held on the cube. For machines with an indexing table, smaller components can be machined on three faces in one set-up operation.

Plain Faced Tee Brackets

Plain faced Tee Brackets allow larger parts to be held against 2 faces, maximising the working area of the cube.

Extended Tee Brackets

Extended Tee Brackets offer the same advantages as Plain faced Tee brackets, allowing larger parts to be held against 2 faces, but increase the working area of the cube on machines with larger x-axis and swing capacities.

Plain Faced Triforms

Triform style cubes the flexibility of holding larger parts, whilst still allowing good machining access and maximising the productivity of the machine.

Accessory Plates

Accessory Plates allow both dedicated and universal fixturing to be quickly added and removed from a Craftsman Cube, without the cube itself leaving the machining centre. They are located using standard round and diamond locating pins for increased accuracy and repeatability.
