Being a responsible business is central to the Craftsman Tools Ltd ethos, dating right back to the beginning of the company in 1953. As a long-term sustainable business we deliver value to all of our stakeholders: our clients, employees, partners, and the wider community, incorporating ethical initiatives into the core of our business structure.
We contribute to the local community, economy, and education with our own award-winning Apprentice School. We continue to invest in the next generation of skilled workers from the local area by offering our apprentices a high quality training programme.
Craftsman Tools is continuously involved in government, business, and local community initiatives; from being a nominated representative for the All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group’s ‘Exported by Britain’ campaign, to a member of the local Chamber of Trade and Commerce. We also support our local University Training College by offering time, expertise, and resources to the students.
We are proud sponsors of Otley, where our headquarters are based. We are also a supporter of national events in the local area such as the Tour de Yorkshire and a regular sponsor of local sporting groups.
