Competing against a field of 90 crews in a round of the British Circuit Rally Championship, the pair made a strong start, finishing the opening stage second in class while gaining seven places overall.

Despite a minor spin in the second stage and a brief stop in service to secure a loose radiator following one of the circuit's jumps, Jonathan and Neil continued to close the gap to the class leaders throughout the day.

By the fifth stage, they had moved into first place in class.

Jonathan said: "I can put the car where I want it, and I know exactly what it's going to do in every corner.

“It was great to get the team's first-class win of the season. The car performed brilliantly all day and it's a real confidence boost heading into the next event.”

The pair extended their lead during the sixth stage before the penultimate stage was cancelled after another competing crew was involved in an accident. Fortunately, the crew escaped without serious injury.

A strong performance on the final stage secured victory by more than a minute, rounding off an excellent day's rallying for Jonathan and Neil.

The result marked another encouraging step forward for the team, with the Citroën C2 completing the event without any significant mechanical issues or damage.

Jonathan and Neil thanked their crew, family, friends and supporters for their help throughout the weekend. The car will now undergo its routine post-event checks before preparations begin for the next round of the championship.

Craftsman Tools is proud to support Jonathan throughout the 2026 season and will continue to share updates from his campaign here on the company website.
