Chris joined Craftsman Tools in 2025 as Head of Operations. He leads the day-to-day running of the business, overseeing commercial performance, project delivery, production coordination and continuous improvement across the company. Robert Johnson
Robert has been working for Craftsman Tools for over 40 years, starting his career here in 1979. In 1984 Mr Johnson Senior retired, and Robert became the Managing Director, overseeing both Craftsman Tools Ltd and our US-based sister company Chevin Tools Inc.
Since 2021, Robert has held the position of Chairman.

Tim Thorburn
Tim's connection with Craftsman Tools began in his teenage years, when he first worked for the company during school holidays. After completing a Knowledge Transfer Partnership and earning a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Birmingham, he joined the business full-time in 2005.

John Wilkinson
John joined Craftsman Tools in 1994 as a grinder. After gaining experience in the fitting and inspection departments, he progressed to Product Manager for the Tooling Cell before becoming Head of Supply Chain Management, overseeing planning, purchasing, production and customer relationships, as well as managing the company's ISO accreditation.
Now Commercial Director, John is responsible for driving business growth, developing new services, including our highly successful pressure testing facility, and identifying opportunities in new markets and industries.
